This time with Burst of Light

That MAGICAL BURST of light...

How is that possible?

What kind of TRICKERY is this?

Again, this is REAL, and 100% ORIGINAL. It was captured by Mr. Darvin Atkeson, a Californian photographer at Pigeon Point Lighthouse, built in 1871 to guide ships on the Pacific coast of California – the TALLEST on the West Coast of the United States.

How he did it:
The beam is a long exposure made when they STOP the rotation for photographers.

The evening was warm and clear with just enough ocean mist to get the brilliant beams of the lighthouse to absolutely glow.

According to photographer (Darvin Atkeson):
"Throughout my life I've, mostly by chance or fate, been given the blessing to live in some of the most beautiful places on the West Coast and to work with some of the most generous and talented people who have passed along invaluable insight".
